Skövde Science Park has granted Edwoak Life Science AB and tm8s an innovation check from Vinnova to develop a strategy for intangible assets.
The Swedish innovation agency Vinnova is now giving the industry association SISP, Swedish Incubators & Science Parks, the confidence to reach out to start-ups and scale-ups with so-called innovation checks in 2022. The initiative comprises a total of SEK 40 million and Science Park Skövde is one of the actors who have been entrusted with distributing innovation checks to companies.
The checks have been initiated by Vinnova to strengthen the innovation capacity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. We are pleased to note that Edwoak and tm8s have been granted an Innovation Check to develop a strategy for the company's intangible assets with a focus on improving sustainable competitiveness and new value creation in the company.
The work will consist of
- Patentability assessment
- FTO (Freedom to operate)
- News Review/Technology Overview/Competitor/Industry Analysis
- Legal and regulatory issues
The same funds pay for the mandatory training "Intellectual property for business" organized by PRV (Patent and Registration Office), which we attend on 1 December.
The ambition of the training is to transform theory into concrete useful tools to be able to determine which issues you need to hire expertise for, which issues you can work on yourself and which issues are more or less relevant to immerse yourself in.
